Hi! I'm Sharon, a Rhodes Scholar from Hong Kong currently reading the Master of Public Policy (MPP) at Oxford. Previously, I completed a MSt in Gender Studies and a BA in Politics and Economics (PPE).

 

​I interned as a journalist at Bloomberg, reporting on Hong Kong's property pains, legal exodus and political changes and investigating China's career coaches. I've also written for Asia Times, Hong Kong Economic Journal, Oxford Political Review, and Oxford Review of Books.

I enjoy writing about feminism, identity, politics, and books. My research interests include misogyny and masculinity, sex work, pornography, left-wing politics, and Hong Kong-China relations.
